I'm glad you're still interested in sword arts. I studied kyudo for a while with the local group, but the practices were too far out of town and life got busy. I just need to build a new makiwara to practice at home. It's a very different skill than sword, which is what I enjoyed quite a bit.

Excellent to see you! I like this site because it is relatively low key and the folks here are not uptight. Also, you get to see what everyone looks like as well as examples of how hard they practice. That keeps us all in line. How did you find this place?

The Knighthawk Armoury builds some interesting realistic looking goshinken. They're expensive but they claim to be pretty durable (not yet tested by us).
