Well, As much as I'd Like to do some Tameshigiri, I'm not 100% sure my sword will do very well. Not to mention I have none, and the only place to get some are from the internet, which could take a few weeks to get. So, I'll probply use it mainly for Kata practice. If I find some Banana trees close to my home, I'll use those. I know it can handle that. I used to practice on banana trees with one of my old Katanas, It was stainless steel and it wasn't full tang, and it worked just fine. So, That probly what I'll do.

Yeah, I have a Myspace. BTW! My sword just came in the Ups today! It's abit heavier and thicker than I thought it would be. When I first looked down the blade it looked crooked, not much, I think it was just me though. Do yalls practice Katanas look crooked when you look down the blade? Talksalotjewels@yahoo.com-Myspace. PLz don't ask -.-;

BATTO-DO POTLUCK!!!

Hey everyone!
BIG NEWS! This Sunday (11/23), we’re going to be holding a Batto-Do potluck. It’s a good way to meet other people who practice Batto-Do; hopefully, we should have people from the UA club, the hombu, and the CFHS class. We’ll do a little tameshigiri and mostly just chill and hang out. The event starts at 10am and will be located at HIMMEL PARK. It’s going to be potluck style. So, send me a message if you plan on coming, so I can let other people know how much food to bring. Also, if… Continue

Batto-Do at the UA!

In case everyone didn't get my email:

Hi everyone!
Hope everyone’s school semester started off well! Sensei Monica and myself apologize for this late email. We’ve had some trouble with our ASUA website. Anyways, Batto-Do isn’t dead. In fact, we have our first practice next FRIDAY (9/12) from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Bring your bokutos and uniform! As always, we will be meeting on the second floor of the student recreation center on the corner of Highland and 6th. For now, this is the only scheduled pr… Continue
